Freshwater Carpet Drying
If flooding was due to a plumbing leak, such as from a burst pipe or washing machine hose, we typically dry both the carpeting and pad in place. Our powerful truck-mounted extraction and cleaning machines extract most of the moisture. We bring dehumidifiers and fans into the home to continue the drying process. Finally, our trained technicians will re-stretch (if necessary) and clean carpeting to restore it to its original condition.
Rainwater and Groundwater Carpet Drying
If flooding was due to a severe storm or sump-pump failure, the process is a little different. First we use our powerful extraction machine to pull most of the water from the carpeting. Then we roll back the carpeting and remove the carpet padding. Next, disinfectant is applied to the carpeting, and it is dried in place.
Sub-flooring is dried at the same time. Once moisture levels have returned to normal, All Clean will install new carpet padding and re-stretch your original carpet. The final step is a thorough carpet cleaning.
When water saturates the carpet, padding and sub-floor it may also move into the walls, cabinets, wood floors and/or insulation. With our system we are able to remove all water and dry affected areas to prevent mold growth.
