Carpet Drying

There’s no doubt, when carpet gets wet, you need to act fast. If water from the carpet and carpet pad is not dried within 24 to 48 hours after becoming wet, you now run the risk of mold growth. According to the EPA, you should dry wet carpet immediately to prevent mold growth. With our emergency water extraction service, we are available 24/7 to ensure your carpet is completely dry.

Clean Water Carpet Drying

If water damage or flooding was due to a plumbing leak, such as from a burst pipe or washing machine hose, we typically dry both the carpet and padding in place. Our powerful truck-mounted extraction and cleaning machines extract most of the moisture. To completely dry the remaining moisture, we bring in dehumidifiers and fans into your home or business to continue the drying process. Finally, our professional water damage restoration technicians will re-stretch (if necessary) and clean carpeting to restore it to its original condition.

Rainwater and Groundwater Carpet Drying

If water damage or flooding was due to a severe storm or sump-pump failure, the process is a little different. First, we use our powerful water extraction machine to pull any excess water from the carpeting as possible. Then we roll back the carpeting and remove the carpet padding. Next, disinfectant is applied to the carpeting to prevent the growth of mold or mildew, and it is dried in place. Meanwhile, the subfloor is drying at the same time.

When water saturates the carpet, padding and sub-floor it may also move into the walls, cabinets, wood floors and/or insulation. With our system we can remove all water and dry affected areas to prevent mold growth.
